Design Enhancements for Frontier Economics

The team at ClerksWell brought the expertise we were looking for to take our website to the next level. They genuinely cared about helping us reach our goal, taking the time to understand us and our brand, leaving us with a site that we're proud to show our clients.

The Challenge Square Corners

The Challenge

The Frontier Economics website was experiencing difficulties with loading times, accessibility of information and key pages, and being able to find their most important content.

Key pages were hard to find due to terminology and navigation inefficiences, and content had poor tagging and categorisation. Heavy imagery also led to slow loading times on pages, causing increased bounce rates.

The Approach

To combat these issues, ClerksWell embarked on a series of steps to refine the tagging system, improve page performance and ensure components worked best for those using them.

ClerksWell did:

  • A UX review
  • User testing of desired enhancements
  • Implementation of lazy loading and responsive images
  • Implementation of primary and secondary navigation levels
  • A redesign of the video component
  • New contact us forms for ease of use

The Impact

The new tagging system means case studies for key projects are easier to find. Contact us forms improve lead generation from case study pages, and journeys are streamlined for prospective clients and employees.

Accessibility improvements have led to better page performance and up time, and decreased page loading time. Among all of this, ClerksWell and Frontier Economics have created a roadmap of future enhancements to guide work for the coming months.

The Frontier Economics website is now easier to use, more intuitive and performs and loads much better and faster, with a strategy of enhancements for the future.
